Top Navigation and Maps Apps Performance in Belarus, Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the landscape of navigation and maps applications in Belarus demonstrated diverse performance trends, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Yandex Maps & Navigator maintained a robust presence, with weekly revenue gradually increasing from around $99 to $152. Downloads peaked at 16.9K in late August before declining to 10.3K by the end of September. Active users remained consistently high, peaking at approximately 475K in late September.

Yandex Navi – navigation, maps experienced a steady increase in revenue, reaching $218 in mid-September. However, downloads declined from 8K in July to 5.6K by the end of the quarter. Active users saw fluctuations, with a peak of around 138K in late July, followed by a decrease to 116K by the end of September.

Google Maps remained a popular choice, with downloads starting at 5.2K and declining to 3.3K by the end of September. Weekly active users saw a gradual decline from approximately 186K to 152K over the quarter.

2GIS: Offline Map & Navigation showed a significant increase in downloads, from 1.8K at the start of the quarter to nearly 5K by the end. Weekly active users also rose steadily, peaking at about 82K in late September.

MAPS.ME: Offline Maps, GPS Nav achieved notable revenue growth, increasing from $155 to $275 in early September before stabilizing. Downloads decreased from 1.6K in July to 1K by the end of September, while active users remained relatively stable, ending the quarter at approximately 6.1K.
